30 Day Challenge

According to the National Institute on Alcohol and Alcoholism, drinking “too much” is more than 3 drinks a day for women and more than 7 drinks in a week. For men, it’s drinking more than 4 drinks a day or 14 drinks in a week. Anything above that amount is considered problem drinking (Source: https://www.niaaa.nih.gov/).

Maybe you drink more than that. Maybe you drink less than that. Maybe you drink just about that much. But – are you willing to try (and are you able to try) to stop drinking all together for 30 days? That’s it. 30 days. Still go out to dinner with friends, but no glass of wine. Still head to a party, but don’t fill up your cup with anything alcoholic. Come home from work, relax and decompress – but don’t grab a cold beer. Can you do it? Challenge yourself!

What could you do for yourself that makes you feel good instead of alcohol? We challenge you to try to focus on that for your 30 days. Is it meditation? Yoga? Reading a good book? How about go for a walk?

Maybe it’s listen to a podcast. We know a good one!
